Kevin - Re: " and a whopping 43 watts at 300 MHz!--"

You've got last year's technology!

The 0.35 micron Pnetium II, introduced in May of last year, dissipates 43 watts INCLUDING the 512 KiloBYTES of L2 cache.

The 0.25 micron Pentium II at 333 Mhz dissipates only 23 watts INCLUDING the 512 KiloBYTES of L2 cache.

What is the power spec for the K6-400 Mhz device, Kevin?

Paul

Kevin,

Re: "Your cool little K6-300 dissipates up to 15.5 WATTS."

Why would I want to buy this "slooow" CPU ... when ... I can choose from
three higher speed bins from Intel. <ggg> BTW, this will soon be four
speed bins with the 450mhz Intel PII.

Make It So,
Yousef
