Skeeter,
No supplier is going to advertize being the low cost producer,
especially if you are being investigated for dumping.mums the word.
And, so what if MU is the lowest cost producer for a given product,
they still have to make money, or make more than they are spending.
Micron obviously is very good at shrinking die and enhancing yields.
You might say they wrote the book, so now everone is copying their simple strategy with the crisis, and even with all the suppliers out there working on yield enhancements and shrinking die, there will still be a shortage, predicted by sometime in 99. Then MU will get stronger again. I will be buying calls.
