My brother Dan; I post blessings from the temple, but am always careful to translate. I have a burden for Jewish people, and hope that the word of G-d in Hebrew will speak to their souls. I have seen this work many times, and have witnessed Jewish people returning to their roots in the Messiah. This is part of our ministry at Temple Beth Hallel. We speak to many Christian Churches trying to explain to them the roots of their Messah. The Sabbath prayers I post are very old and probably were heard and chanted by Yeshua himself in the temples of his youth. They bless me greatly. I will post them even if the arguments about Jews stop. I do not mind however confronting what I see as evil in this manner. One thing to think about the name of Yeshua, is that it is Hebrew for salvation, and the Lord's birth name. I do not want to imply it is the only name he should be called. My Rabbi has asked me to do it, and so I stay consistent with it in order to be obedient to the shepherd that Yeshua has placed me under. One more blessing about the name Yeshua, his English name Jesus is not in the Old Testament. However, the name Yeshua appears each time you read the translation salvation. Try it as you read the Old Testament. For example; Isaiah 12:2 "Behold, God is my Yeshua; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my Yeshua." One other way that his name appears is in the Hebrew grammar. There is a structure that is essential in Hebrew by which two letters, the alaf, and tao, appear. They are not pronounced in the language, but they are necessary and used often. In English these two letters translate as Alpha and Omega. An example Gen 1:1 In the beginning G-d, the Alpha and Omega, created the heavens and the earth. What a blessing, his title appears on every page of the Old Testament. Nancy Markoff may have more insight on this than myself, as I am not even sure I have spelled them correctly. But this idea is a beautiful gift of G-d to all believers. This is the type of richness that Jewish culture offers to Christians. In Yeshua's name - DLL
