I think you're looking at this through Iomega-colored glasses. If the iMac proves anything, then it is that the need for removable storage for the average computer user is DECREASING- floppy, Zip, you name it. Hence its ethernet and modem built-in. Files are emailed, ftp'd, or ethernet from computer to computer, ESPECIALLY on College campuses.

Networking is where we're at, baby.

However, for those who need it, the iMac's lack of any kind of removable storage with its 2 USB ports cries for a solution that is FLEXIBLE. Sony HiFi fits the bill to a tee. It can handle legacy floppies that EVERYONE STILL HAS ON THEIR COMPUTERS TO THIS DAY, and also Fuji/Sony/Teac's new 200MB superfloppy discs.

Also, keep in mind that the iMac unveiled by Jobs is a preliminary model, and is subject to change before release. We could see a floppy drive in there yet.
