Jerry Favors wrote a piece on the Lindsay indicator in the January
1992 issue of Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities. I'm
trying to find where I put the darn thing.

Take a look at:

Count the days. There was a new high in September, 1992, which did not break the 45-50 day trading pattern requiring the start of a new count.

For a warning shot, take a look at the McClellan on September 8, 1987,
within the third peak rollover pattern.

So far I think we are following the August-October 1992 pattern fairly
closely. That should bring us to the upper Bollinger Bands this week.

A classic Lindsay sell at that point would be a Dow new high on
negative breadth.
