>>>They do not populate the internet threads with negative commentary; they do not fax out every piece of negative news that is published; they do not seek to get negative stories on Checkfree published in newspapers and magazines;

I try to post any article I find on CheckFree good or bad. The only problem is that there isn't that many negative articles on CheckFree. I would welcome any short on this thread, but they better be ready to do Battle, with facts in hand. There are a few shorts on the Yahoo thread, but the worse thing they can come up with, is my grammar.

Mr. Gintel, I have a question that probably could best be answered
by someone of your experience. First a disclaimer; I'm long CKFR;
bought a small position based on momentum [I don't know beans about
electronic commerce]. I guess you might say I know something good
when I see it. IMHO CKFR will do fine as long as the market holds up.
I am bullish in the sense that Abby Cohen is-trust in the new paradigm
and the supertanker. In other words, I think that the only potential
danger to "our company" would be a derailing of fundamental underpinnings of the economy. One of the most important of these is the new found fiscal responsibility, such as it is. The question has
to do with the November national elections. How will Alan Greenspan
and the markets react short and long term if the Democrats retake
control of the congress. I laughed when Elaine and Byron and Ralph
predicted doom but when the aforementioned thought crossed my mind
my skin started to crawl. Is this as scary as it sounds to me?

Mr. Gintel,

Congrats on a great interview in Investor's Business Daily. My favorite quote is "We understand the company and we understand the industry it's in." If more investors used this common sense strategy, I think they would be more successful.

Best Wishes,

Benny(I'm sure Mr. Godman deserves a great deal of credit also, tell him "Congrats" and "Hello" from the CheckFree SI Thread)
