Looking at GSCN's Sunday press release, I'd say this ruling has nothing to do with the patent lawsuit. Not out of the woods just yet.

The dispute involved a development contract whereby General Scanning was to use its best efforts to develop a system to produce holographic, three dimensional images onto film from CAT scan and/or MRI data sets. By late 1996, the Company believed it had successfully completed the design of the system, produced an alpha unit as proof-of-concept and manufactured a beta unit that was accepted by Voxel. In December 1996, the Company sought, through binding arbitration, recovery from Voxel of monies for work already performed as well as lost profits on future production. Voxel counterclaimed seeking recovery of lost profits. Following a lengthy discovery process, an arbitration hearing was concluded in January 1998.
