Maxwell,

Re: "Do you know what is the gate oxide for this process is (electrically
measured and optically measured)? Also what is the channel length?"

I would be happy to answer your simple questions, Maxwell ... Is this
a "take home" assignment from Bert ??

Gate Thickness .... 40A electrical/ 32A optical
Gate Length ........ .20um printed/ .13um Leff

BTW, Jeff is correct that Intel does have "headroom" to manufacture CPU's
in the 500mhz - 550mhz range in their .25um process. It is interesting
to note that AMD's .25um process is having a hard time to get above 300mhz ... Why
is that ??

Make It So,
Yousef

<If the bus is at 200MHz then what type of memory will be used? SDRAM can only go to 100MHz and a bit more, surely not 200MHz. If Rambus is used which can exceed 500MHz then what is the use of the L2 cache SRAM?>

And suddenly the Celeron debate gains a new twist!
