<partly off topic>

Hi Valueman:

I have two questions:

a) Do you know which companies have developed or
are developing satellite ATM switching products?
I am aware of Spacebridge, a Newbridge Network
affiliate: spacebridge.com
Who else: Stanford Telecom?

b) I just got the June issue of Individual Investor.
It features many of the companies often discussed
on this thread, such as GSTRF, CDRD, and VSAT. However,
there is another group that I have been following
quietly without getting too excited: satellite
messaging companies such as SKYC and Orbcomm.
I am not too interested in Orbcomm, but I would
like your opinion about SKYC. My read is that they need
to execute fast or GSTRF will eat their lunch when it goes
on line next year. They are also throwing a lot of red ink.
However, Ron Baron is a big holder of SKYC. Since he
is a very astute investor, I am wondering what he is seeing
that I don't seem to grasp?

Thanks for your help,

Bernard Levy
