I'm not sure I see any effect on WIND in this. HWP is placing a much greater emphasis on software these days, such as its partnership with WIND on JetSend.

Celestica is a major contract electronics manufacturer that previously bought several manufacturing businesses from HP...

I can understand how these types of interpretations come about given HP's actions, but I can assure readers here that embedded systems development is a key component to HP's future.

HP has a long reputation of being a straight shooter when it comes to communicating it's intentions or strategy. It would be prudent to give weight to their denial about de-emphasizing embedded computing.
