l.g: Thx for that pointer to Firewall certification. I am not at all concerned about the smaller fry. The big 3 can be a threat just by
virtue of their marketing clout and the threat of price discounts. You
may have observed that IBM pricing is just under CHKPF.

Are IBM's sales on the rise.?

Len, I'm currently fascinated by "Agents". I'm wondering if there's anyone who can give technical viewpoint on agent security?

Can anyone say anything from a technical standpoint whether how Checkpoint will work with agents and/or "aglets" which are a Java development for sending out search programs to other networks and letting them transact information and then bring it back. I'm not really phrasing that well, but it's something that will change the way we use the net and will be very important in the future.

I have seen where MSFT bought Firefly last month. They seem to be an important player in agent security. Any thoughts from a techie would be appreciated.

Regards,

Mark
