Re: SUVs Ah, something I can contribute to. Here in Boca Raton (just north of Ft. Lauderdale, FL) the invasion of the SUVs has been nothing short of amazing over the past 12-18 months. Yes, here in South Florida, where dips into the 40s are regarded as signs of the next ice age, here in the flattest state in the union (the highest points are various man-made landfill sites) the roads are choked with SUVs of every size and shape, especially the most ostentatiously outfitted from Lincoln, Lexus, Mercedes, etc. More dollars then sense.
