SEVL ... a good short now? They came up with 1st quarter results after close friday. The press release is; biz.yahoo.com They tried to put a positive spin on it but it looks terrible. My comments on the release is ; Message 4404576 Now according to the press release, 7th level will start getting revenues from Agent 7 starting this year. You can download Agent 7 from www.7thlevel.com. (You need IE, it will not work with netscape) I did download it and it looks cute. But IMHO anything from Macromedia(the shockwave people) is much much better. If you do plan to short it, wait for 10-15 minutes after the open to see if the day traders are going to run it. Should be shorted as soon as it stagnates. Here is some more relevant info about the company; Market Cap: $87.9 mil #Shares Outstanding: 13.8 mil Employees: 30 Quarterly revenues(last 13 quarters,ending with most recent, in mil): 1.5 1.2 2.6 6.8 4.4 5.0 4.8 6.3 4.2 1.0 3.3 2.1 0.4 Earnings/share(last 13 quarters, ending with most recent): -0.37 -0.35 -0.35 -0.27 -0.37 -0.49 -0.53 -0.41 -0.48 -0.52 -0.38 -0.27 -0.18 Institutional Ownership: 4.00% (before the last run-up, I doubt they are still in) Short Interest: 324,216 as of 04/24/98 (was 331,189 a month ago, that is what is reported, I am not sure if this is the data before or after the run-up) Insider Trading: The most recent ones I found; 01/28/98 Doug Gillespie/Director sold 30,100, has 28,473 left, at $1.75 02/06/98 Doug Gillespie/Director sold 25,000, has 3,473 left, at $1.75 03/06/98 Ezrin Roberts/Director sold 5,834, has 542,472 left, at ?(not recorded but market price was around $1 1/2 by then) 03/06/98 Page Scott/Director sold 5,833, has 110.332 left, at ?(not recorded but market price was around $1 1/2 by then) All the data is from MSN investor. Fundamental analysis suggests a share price of $0. But with these Internet "dude"s we may need an insanometer reading. While I think ENML is a good short at this level, I would also urge some caution in establishing a position, as I am now of the opinion that ENML is actively being "pumped", and could see higher levels before it sees lower. I opened a small position at 13 3/8 Friday, with the intention of adding to it in the future. But I won't be surprised at all if it hits the 15s. Barb
