jwk, This is better discussed on the Year 2000: Impact on Stock Market & Society thread. But I'll just say that I agree. Stock exchange insiders won't miss this rare opportunity to stampede the entire market. Lots of hype is coming our way over the next few quarters as they build short positions. 401K participants and uninformed mutual fund buy-and-holders are going to be seriously soiling some underpants before this scenario plays out.
