I wonder if they are also attacking the research houses for their "bs" and "chicanery". Some people just can't accept the responsibility that comes with making decisions. If you trade a stock and it goes down it must be somebodies fault. Have I heard anything so stupid? Unfortunately, yes. I follow maybe 200 companies and it seems that if a company doesn't hit it's whisper number and drops, someone yells "class action lawsuit". And it seems that if our favorite naysayer still hold ggns (down 84% in the last 2 years) that has got to be up there on the list. But that's Michael Murphy's fault.

I think the term spin doctor refers to someone who continually predicts the stock is going to go up, explains why (ussually associated with a "slam dunk" event), and then the rise in price or event never happens or is delayed sometime over a year. In fact, in most cases we hear a prediction that Lgnd will go up, in reality the price actually goes down, then when it starts moving up from this new lower price (never reaching the price where the original prediction was made) and then the poster takes credit for correctly predicting a rise in the stock price. I also don't think it matters whether you are long or short Lgnd to be a so called nay-sayer. I for one own many shares of Lgnd, but after reading the hype on here for 1 1/2 years, I can Monday morning quarterback and say I could have used this money more effectivly on other stocks and made alot more money.

>>They refer to investors, that are long LGND, as spin doctors. So.... if you own a stock,
and hope that it goes up, you are a spin doctor?!

CUT THE BS!!!

HAVE YOU GUYS GONE MAD?!

You got that wrong AND YOU KNOW IT!!

I'm long, I'm sure FUGAZI is long and I know there are many others who own LGND but are sick and tired of the spin & hype on these boards that's KILING this stock, but they prefer to stay silent.

ARE WE SPINDOCTORS ???!!!

Unfortunately, yes! The whole history of his posts on the LGND thread far surpasses the stupid posts of today.
