penni, . . . creative moment . . .

As a child in the '40s, I nailed an expired gold-and-black Texas
license plate to a tree trunk in our front yard, near the street.
My mother, upon discovering my artistic expression, declared it
"tacky" and ordered it removed. I wish she had grabbed her
"Kodak" and taken a snapshot of that "moment".

Loving Spouse got some of the pix developed from her trip east. One good'n has her and my sister with their respective baby girls. Guess which one's cuter.

Oh. Wednesday Spouse came home late from a babysitting gig (gotta raise that cash somehow that I lost on Zona) so I started in on dinner. I cooked the asparagus and made a real Hollandaise for it. Not quite a "pitcher of melted butter", but close enough for giggles.
I need to get one of those trendy little black plastic whisks. The metal one tore the **** out of the bottom of my All-Clad.
