Marshall,

I think Rod's analysis of Barker's reply is more or less on target.

I think it's also worth noting that Barker has suddenly become extremely accessible. If I were a shareholder, I'd care a great deal less about getting the latest sales pitch from WB, and a great deal more about WB's use of his time as we head into what looks like the final stretch.

Since when has any CEO worth much of anything wasted time providing the same song and dance the customer receives to a single shareholder? Has RACE become so marginalized that Barker has nothing better to do with his time in the middle of the week?

What I can't understand is the paralysis that seems to have gripped RACE's board of directors. The handwriting is on the wall. Seems that anyone on that board with a shred of self-respect would be calling for Barker's resignation.

I would strongly urge any budding writers out there to consider writing and publishing a short history of Data Race to illustrate the pitfalls of investing in the small-cap market. If I had the time, I'd write it myself.
