DOJ, Cut microsoft off at the knees! Let's put things in perspective micro serfs! Microsoft is NOT innovative. Does anyone remember Windows ver. 1.0 and 2.0 ? Where did they get the idea for clickable icons?-- Apple, from whom they stole programmers to write Win 3 (It took them a while to get it right). WIN 95 is CRAP. A little window dressing (no pun intended) over 3.1. Its not robust and lots of bugs. Just plain CRAP. They are getting fat and lazy because of lack of competition. Has anyone tried to get help from microsoft tech support lately? Why should you have to PAY for tech support for a program that doesn't work correctly out of the box? The last couple of versions of almost all microsoft programs are window dressing but NO innovation. Ex: Excel, WORD, WIN95. They are NOT serving the consumer by making changes to the interfaces to their programs with no improvement (actually a decline) in usability. They are doing this for their OWN greedy profits, not the consumer. Just when you get used to an interface its "screw you, we are changing the way you operate this program." It isn't any better-- just different. They did NOT innovate their Web browser, they COPIED Navigator! WOW, how original, creative, and UN-innovative. Meanwhile, everyone, like lemmings, just go along and buy their bug-riddled, disfunctional insectware. So, on top of all that, they are attempting to use their monopoly power to squash Netscape, like they did all their previous competitors. They are strong-arming PC makers, and screwing the consumer in the long run. Just one thing I have to say to Janet Reno... cut them in half, if you have the balls.
