There is no news out of Dakota Mining yet! But, If you wish to make news, and feel like you may have more than shares in a gold mine, but a possible bonanza. Call Brian Cramm V.P. Finance, Dakota Mining and ask him these questions (please post response on this forum). He's new from Echo Bay Mines and a very smart guy. Do you think he would be at Dakota Mining if the company was going out of business? I DOUBT IT! DKT reported that 52,000 oz were produced and sold in 1997. ASK.... How much total gold was produced in 1997 (sold, unsold, inventory, and on leach pads SIMULTANOUSLY)? DKT had 131,000 oz reported on pads by Nov, 1997. (Hmmmmm) Geeee, They only sold 52,000 oz in 1997. where is the rest of the stuff? How much gold was in inventory on January 1, 1998? (production costs WERE incurred and charged in 1997) How much gold was on the leach pads on January 1, 1998? How much total gold was on hand elsewhere on January 1, 1998? Is their debt now covered with the Rothschild's with the inventory? If conditions (POG) rise, how close to 200,000 0z production in 1998 can they actually achieve, if they desired?
