Amex to Trade Leaps on Safeskin Corporation

NEW YORK, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today announced it will trade LEAPS(R) (Long-term Equity AnticiPation Securities(R)) on the over-the-counter stock of Safeskin Corporation beginning Thursday, May 21.

Safeskin Corporation, based in San Diego, California, develops, manufactures, and markets disposable latex and synthetic glove products worldwide. The Company's customers include the acute care, alternate site, and dental healthcare markets, as well as the consumer market.

LEAPS on Safeskin will open with strike prices of 35, 40 and 45. LEAPS trading under the ticker symbol LFK will expire in January 2000, while those trading under the ticker symbol ZFK will expire in January 2001.
