RE: IMO, all companies, including DELL are striving to grow revenues and earnings!

I wish SI had Spell check.

The companies I listed are struggling to grow Revs and EPS.
Some of them are not even growing Revenue, Others are seeing tremendous slow downs in their growth rates.

DELL seems to be one of the few that has seen none of these problems.
Is DELL special, Lucky, In the right place at the right time, or just Yet to show signs of the problems that are plagueing the industry and therefore the the companies in the industry ?

Lets look at INTC. INTC is trying real hard to grow Revenue and earnings, Right?
Well they have not been sucessful since 1996. Despite introducing ever faster Chips, Entering new product areas (like Networking), Going to ever smaller geomitries, and Spending huge ammounts of money of R&D and new factories.
Is the BX400 going to make a differance ? Not this quarter.
Will the 450 due in July make a differance ? I am not going to bet on it.

WDC has gone from 2GB drives to 10GB drives, Has it made a differance?

DELL is currently doing will.
Is it immune to the "Trend" so many other companies in the PC arena seem to have found ?
