self evaluation:

most of the time, i dont make the big kill.. but as you can see, dell and ibm have performed fabulously. the key is the keep your other stock losses down. dont be afraid to take profits of 3-8% gains.

very rarely can you make the big kill.. but when you do have a big winner, make sure you take advantage of that killing opportunity (load up!)

heheh

nothing really to cheer about re: today's mkt.

SOX is down.. not broad mkt action.

key to making $$ for us traders:

1) keep watching for moving stocks
2) keep moving your assets around (ie: stock rotation i call it) you hit dell.. boom grab profits.. jump on the hwp rally. so forth

it's like clockwork.. but it shows you have to study "other stocks" to know what to go into. time is money.. money should be invested at all times (depends on mkt conditions of course) <g>

thought:

i see more people "throwing away their fundamental analysis" and saying "forget it.. it's all momentum"..

couple thoughts

1) be careful.. you are throwing away your "system".. make sure you are using a method/system that is "BETTER" than before, and not simply doing it to follow the crowd. in a way, your objectivity is broken because it's going against your original opinion. my point is : make sure tested out this new method!

2) i think more people realize fundmentals dont mean much anymore. and that's why more people are into TA.. (ie: using the fa and TA approach) Mkt P/E is way too high. no way.. BS <g>

just my thoughts.

this is my first time hearing the BP too.. so im not sure what to expect.. i think we are still in basing mode.. i think sector-wise, the techs are still good.. i always play the sp500, so im not sure which mkt cap is best. <g>
