*Off Topic* Jim, I must say I think you are wrong. I do not know for certain but I had heard that the SAT's were 'dumbed out' once in the 80's and once again in the early 90's. You mentioned that math testing has improved? I really doubt that, there is a huge push, and has been for some time to get kids interested, or re-interested in math and science. If the kids now were doing so well in math and science, why the concern?
