I just remembered a gambler who was even more unlucky; but at least he quit gambling, for the most part anyway.

I can't remember the team or the exact spreads or whatever, but it went something like this.....

The shot was probably about 500 bucks plus the vig and he had the Knicks, I think, giving 10. The Knicks were up 11 with about 11 seconds to play and were taking the ball inbounds. The other team was pressing hard but the Knick taking the inbounds pass managed to race to the hoop and score with 3 seconds left on the clock.
