Poetic?!
More like oxymoronic. "Pacifist Assassin" jumps to mind. It depends a lot on bias. You see the underdog. I see terrorists exploiting the popularity of their cause.

"not with the intent of hurting anyone"
Disagree. Deliberate violent intent. I'm sure the owners of the boat were hurt, especially at insurance settlement time.
As far as technically non-violent protest - what would have been wrong with writing letters instead of obstructionism?

Grown-ups take away all the fun.

DECORAH, Iowa (AP) -- Universities have banned many things over the years, from alcohol to co-ed sleepovers in dormitories. Now comes naked soccer.

Co-ed naked soccer games have became a tradition in recent years at Luther College to celebrate the end of final exams. But college officials say the sport won't be tolerated as graduation nears. Graduation is May 22.

Seven students were charged with indecent exposure after a game last year. And a police officer who was videotaping the game at the school's request was assaulted by another student.

This year, Decorah police will be on call, security will be increased, and the school has scheduled activities to deter students from participating in the sport.
