You know Tim, you're right. Let's just let bygones be bygones. Let's forget about things like the debenture redemption program. The debentures were a major concern on this thread and Syncronys never redeemed a damned thing, but I'm sure this wasn't meant to mislead anyone.

Let's also forget about releases that project profitable quarters that turn out to be losses.

Let's forget about press releases announcing grand shipments of a product that never make it to the bottom line in a finacial statment.

Let's forget about OEM deals that turned out to be nothing more than coupon deals.

I could go on and on, but I'm gonna forget about it. RP now knows what he's doing and everyone should get out their check book and buy a ticket to get on board the RP ride of their life.

How's the Amex listing going?

Give it a rest Tim.

Tim, Look, I'm not going to get into a pissing contest. I've been on SI for a couple of years, and that's the first post of that type from me, ever. Look it up. I never posted to you or about your credibility. I always hoped you would be right, and your detractors wrong.

But this is ridiculous. Change of direction? Did he mention how the new direction little certificates stuck in with the disk drives are moving? Those two "new" OEM deals we long waited for should be bringing $$ to the bottom line. Shortly we will find out.

No, what did it for me is when I went into the local COMPUSA for the tenth time to see if we still had product on the shelves. There were lots of BigDISK (our new STS product), and Zipper, and all the others. I held up a BD to a salesperson and asked him how is this selling, is it any good, and did customers seem to like it? He said he didn't know how well it worked, but that everything else that the company has put out is pretty much useless. I'd be better off with equipment up-grades than any of their stuff. (I didn't tell him that I only use PowerMacs and we don't need any of this type of thing).

So I'm left with a company putting out useless software that the CEO has promised as "homeruns". But this was just a miscalculation on his part, that he didn't know that this software wouldn't be well received.

Basically, I gave them up for dead, and hang here to tease my buddy, Tommy, who had enough sense to get out.

Now, you may be right. And RP isn't a greedy CEO running off with all the "deferred revenue" out the door after his former lovable public relations VP. The last fifty mistakes are forgiven. Great things are coming down the road. That will be fine, for as I said, I'm holding till the end of the year, unless of course my shares actually gain some value.

You see, your post was the first one supporting this disappointment called SYCR in about three months. Most of us have had it. You certainly got the reaction you expected. Now let's see if your promises, and RP's promises ever had any merit at all.

For now, I'll no longer trash you or SYCR. I'll go back to my on-topic Seinfeld mode of talking about everything but SYCR.

Besides, I've got some mouse pads to package up for shipment to Hicksville.

Thanks Timothy,

RP needs to fire SS and hire you to represent their interest to the shareholders. I don't mean that in a negative way either.
I guess that some of us that are still invested are very leery of anything positive about this company, and from the past for very good reason. I'm certainly hoping for the best with the new products. After all this is the same company that road the intro of Windows 95 from a few pennies to $30.00 a share with a product that later turned out to be useless. If they could recover from that fiasco, I figured they could certainly recover from the recent past.
When I invested in this stock, my intended time frame for maturity from this was 3 to 5 years. I've only been invested a year and a half so far and have questioned everything about my decision to buy this stock.
One bump does not a trend make; however, we have a heartbeat and their is still some life left.
