To tell you the truth, I don't know why all the analysts were so hyped on HP in the first place.

CNBC's Maria B. is a cute talking head; she just reported "hwp is trading at 74, down 8 from its close of 81 5/8" <g>.

It's hard to gauge what will happen tomorrow. There have been a series of upgrades, some as late as today. Maybe believers in these specious evaluations will provide some support, but my gut feel is that we're in for a pretty steep drop over the next 5 trading days.

Sometimes the after market over-reacts (I hope). Just don't put in a market order, or you're liable to get skinned by the specialist in the first burst of down trading! I've put in a day limit order in the mid 70s. If it fills, I think I will be able to buy back in and get significantly more shares for the money by the end of next week.

imho, Frank
