Ann, If they put two plus two together, they would not get that at all. If they read enough to read of the sacrifice, then they read enough to know WHAT the sacrifice was for, and the fact that the sacrifice of JESUS was ONCE....... FOR ALL........Hebrews 7:27; and that God detest the sacrifice of children, as I showed earlier....so they are in error of His will. Mankind has been good at that. They take the parts or pieces they want and make it fit the god they want for their convenience. Is that not so? Jesus, in the sermon on the mount did not make any laws null and void, he rather called us to higher thinking.As an example: Matthew 5: 21-22 Jesus says "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. Now you tell me that your inner being gives you your way to act. sort of like built in morality. But some do not act that way. Is that ok? or was Jesus just speaking to himself? Jesus took murder and gave us a higher calling to not even call someone a fool, much LESS murder. If we respected one another like Jesus called us to do, do you think our own countries crime rate would go up or down? God makes it clear that there is no further need to sacrifice as his son LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR ALL...... ONCE FOR ALL.
