You give these politicians credit for more brains than they really have, and the average bureaucrat is worrying about his perks (Like the Canadian government employee that managed to run up a bill of $750 for lunch for two in Paris) and how to get his next promotion. Living in the Ottawa area, I consider myself an expert in these matters.

Nobody can say they had to abuse me twice. Just putting the finishing touches on a new garden shed to house my new standby generator. Whether it is another ice storm or Ontario Hydro not being ready for the year 2000, this puppy isn't going to freeze in the dark again.
