Don, I agree with you that a higher than expected CPI number won't warrant a raise by the Fed, but you know all it takes is speculation to cause a sell off, especially if the 30 year tanks. PPI was stronger than expected but they made an excuse for it as usual, anything to keep the market up. Warnings season begins in earnest in three weeks, so enjoy the sun while it is still shining. Yes, I was short IBM at the close Tuesday, but covered early on this morning for a small loss, can't win them all, especially when these idiotic ANALysts are talking through their collective As..s, witness HP, will make it all back tomorrow and then some...
