I just thought of another potential source of the difference. The SEMI numbers are based on reports from equipment makers about their sales. The WSTS numbers are based on reports from equipment consumers about what they bought. In between, there's room for different reporting of taxes, installation costs, and maintenance contracts, as well as different dates for the transaction. Ten million here, ten million there, and pretty soon you're talking real money. Katherine
