Response to Christine's Propaganda: Terrence, I think Greenpeace is one of the most wonderful organizations on earth, because it is large and strong and PROTECTIVE of the planet. I understand fully that it makes it more difficult for business interests to poison our skies and waterways, and kill all the fish and burn down the rain forests. --------------------------------------------- 1. Illogical and untrue statement. 2. More protective of political agendas than planet. 3. Extremists. 4. Luddites who will be eliminated as we progress into the 21st century. 5. Footnotes in history less important than the penant years of the Chicago Cubs. ---------------------------------------------- I think that is absolutely great, because businesses NEED checks and balances to make sure they operate in appropriate ways. ---------------------------------------------- Why? Do you realize this violates freedoms and liberties? And who determines the appropriate ways, Ms Libertarian? What government, panel, board, executive committee, collective or mob? ---------------------------------------------- Unregulated, they are governed by their own short-term interests and the profit motive, pure and simple, and earth will be destroyed unless there are regulatory agencies monitoring their activities. ---------------------------------------------- Claptrap.
