Hi Alex,

Good to hear from you.

I am doing okay... how are you doing?

The market should continue up today and if it gets to new highs, interday, then we should see one heck of a rally soon above the 9,600 level. If it doesn't, I see a move down tomorrow.

Do you see the inverted H&S in the DOW?

Bill

Hi again Alex,

Barron's based read is as follows:

May 16 1998 Weekly=up Mon=f,Tu=f,W=up,Th=up
VIX=down VGY=Sell DJIA mom (377) =near peak
Gut feeling - Will go to new highs and possibly reach 9600 by 5/22/98
Volatility=increasing Overall-flat to up

Evaluation:of last week's forecast:
Weekly- not as strong as expected
Daily-wrong Gut feelings: market went up but not to new highs NOTE: Buy with both hands! (IMHO and BWDIK?)

Alex, investment advisors seem to be all over the map from Wall who is in cash and expecting the crash low to be in July to Todd who says if you listened to the bears two years ago you would have lost out on a 75% move up.

With the put/call ratio in IBD at "bottoming" levels, I must say I favor Todd rather than going to the Wall <ggggggg>.
