Geez Randy, Look what this little nibble of a contract announcement does to the volume and price... Imagine what an INS would do...

Buck,

Maybe people are realizing that's only two banks on two continents. Many more banks and many more continents to go...

A newsletter blurb with more detail on the Bank of Cairo deal:

(From the Intelligence Newsletter of May 21) "The Bank of Cairo in Egypt has placed an order with Identix . . . for 1000 of the company's Touchsafe fingerprint capture units. The system, developed by Identix's Bio-ID division, will be installed in the bank's 300 branch offices and allows for the identity of all employees who authorize withdrawals, deposits and electronic transfers over a certain amount to be verified. It replaces the password system the bank had used up to now. Identix's system is already being used at the Conavi Bank in Colombia and Indonesia's Bank Central Asia (respectively the Touchlock and Touchlock II systems)."
