Fellow Westellers, here's another play you may want to consider. We are all invested in this stock because:
a) belief in the future of ADSL
b) WSTLs positioning with BEL, LU, etc...

If you believe in the need for high bandwidth for the future, cable modems will also win. I am seriously starting to view ATHM as a great investment for the future. Subscriber numbers are taking off and in one year that stock could easily double or triple, as hot as the Internet plays seem to be today. ATHM will only get better. If you speak to people that have the service (3 friends of mine do) that all love it. They have given up the slow bandwidth of AOL and other ISPs for speedy cable modems. I can't wait to get this myself. They pay $40, which includes the modem and the Ethernet NIC. Most definitely priced to the consumer market. With more and more business connections, ATHM may also capture a significant portion of the telecommuter market. I just picked up some January 2000 leaps. Very expensive premiums, but not if the stock doubles. By 2000, this stuff will explode. A person could make pretty decent returns just SELLING leaps. What do you all think?
