hal:

If we get massive deployments by the telcos, as I feel we soon will, ATHM will tank. I think consumers will prefer the more traditional approach for their internet service. I think ATHM will be a potential roller coaster- chance to make some good money, chance you could lose a lot. Risk/reward IMHO is better with WSTL. Personally, WSTL at $10 seems lower risk for my change...

hal--

my advice is to stay clear of @home. the cablecos are going to have regulatory problems in the near future, and a good deal of positive thought is already built into the stock. so, they are trading on what is expected to be a rosy future. IMHO, any problems will slow the stock down considerably.

wait a little while and see if you can get it cheaper. what many dont understand is that the real jewel with this company is the caching technology. but, others are coming out with similar products. so i would wait.

good luck to all,
trey
