hey we can go up 2.5 SPX and it will still be below where I bought my puts...SPX was up over 5

HA..but my puts might be worth less...
never know what those SOB's are up to

One old standby, a clue I used to use when I traded OEX options...

Expiration Wednesday/Thursday afternoon had a definable pattern. If the market was chugging along upwards around the bond close and into 3:20 ET the market tended to be barraged by buy programs, so the call-holders could exercise at the close.
