Being long 10 and selling 5 does not get you short 5; it allows you to book the profits on 5 and let the other 5 run.

Tell LW, that he needs to do the same thing in 30 second sound bites!! One thing that I can tell you for sure and I'll wager you anything on this--you may say that you will only position trade but when the time comes you'll also day trade--at least some -- a guy with ants in his pants can't stay away from it especially if we are here on this thread chatting away about going long and short and in and out of trades!!
