Except the last thing IBM wants is another hardware business like Apple. IBM may be in the market but it will be for services companies to comply with Lou's 28% growth mandate. I'd guess Computer Associates and their like. Rich

I'm expecting AAPL to give back a little Friday. The future looks as bright as Apple Pie to us, but the street is trying to protect their misguided short positions. The question is: How much?

MY SPECULATION
How long is not a problem. It should spring back next week with a vengeance. The opening Friday should see AAPL dive below 30 and try to catch hold at 29 3/8. This will fail but 28 3/4 will firm the bottom. After a wild and volatile day the stock will close at around 29 1/8.

The likelihood that I am wrong is MUCH greater than the likelihood that I am right. It's just fun to guess.

Another thing. Indonesia and India may spark a withdrawal concert on all over valued issues. Or they might blame it on the last episode of Seinfelt. Watch out early. It may be a good day to be sitting on CASH.

Good hunting,
HerbVic
