Well, at least it removes the some uncertainty!!

I also read in the WSJ that tobacco cos will be prevented from advertising in Europe. Additionally, US Embassy personnel will be prevented from assisting tobacco cos in any way that promotes sales but not free trade.

Boy is there a lot of activity on this thread. Gone for a week and look what I've missed!

Doesn't the entire Senate, and then the House, have to vote before any new taxes are imposed? I find it curious that a single committee can take such a measure by its lonesome.

As for the Buffet rumors, I personally have not heard a mention of that til just now.

MO's price is indeed a bargain, but I've been saying that since we were at 45! Either I'm VERY wrong, or God is letting us get a better gift than any of us ever thought. I usually don't average down, but in this case I think I will. There is just too much reward potential, despite the big risk of getting heavier into tobacco. I'm taking another plunge in today methinks.
