Too bad they couldn't have decided this earlier today. It seems like we have some negative story each day. Even if the story isn't that negative, the stock falls. I would imagine if the CEO hurt his finger, the stock would go down a bit. It will be nice once they get this crap behind them. I'd like to see if they can really pass this bill. I am sure every smoker is going to be calling their congressmen this week complaining about this. Even if they pass it, I still think cigarette demand will stay the same. There is already and has been a cigarette black market. I used to work for Safeway, that was the number one thing people stole (cartons and cartons worth). I guess it will get worse.

I also read in the WSJ that tobacco cos will be prevented from advertising in Europe

I am not sure that will hurt MO too bad. Whenever, my Mom goes to Italy, they always beg her to pack some cartons of Marlboro's in her suitcase :-) They love our cigarette's over there. I don't think they really need too much advertising, IMO.

I bought my shares today on margin, so I think I'll just ride out any more dips. I think options expire tomorrow, does anyone think it will affect MO?

Rob.
