Consider the following hypotheticals.

Discussion topic #1: if a third party cannot independently talk to a customer about implementation and performance, does 100% customer satisfaction exist?

Discussion topic #2: if seats have been "deployed" but are not being used can a vendor claim market share?

Discussion topic #3: how does a vendor account for revenues refunded to a customer?

Discussion topic #4: if economists have the NAIRU (Non-Accelerating Inflation Rate of Unemployment), do investors have a NAIRBO (Non-Accelerating Investor Rate of Bailing Out)?

Discussion topic #5: how many heads can roll on a pin?

Talk amongst yourselves.

Steve, Thank you so much for sharing this rumor, conjecture and speculation. It's unfortunate that you feel the only way for vntv to succeed is for sebl to fail. That in itself is a very telling statement as to who the leader is in this space even in your opinion.

With respect to...>>.Why does SEBL refuse to allow customers to talk to outsiders? I called a few, and they say that they are unable to talk, due to contractual obligations. What do you think Tom is hiding? Why won't he let his customers talk?

I'm curious...just who did you say you were when you called????? Was this a case of impersonating a prospective customer?? Very tacky if it was. I am sure that sebl customers are allowed to talk to outsiders. Did you ever think that maybe sebl is trying to control it somewhat in order to minimize the interruption to the customers. Taking reference calls, as you know since you were in sales, can burn out your best refences very quickly so they aren't there when you need them. Maybe they're saving them for the REAL buyers of software not the impersonators.
