What's the difference? They designed a system that works well together. It is becoming apparent that as L2 moves on die, and as bus speeds increase to 133 -266mhz and beyond that this design will continue to outperform the competition at a competative price. AMD won't reach those bus speeds with socket7 or it's derivatives. AMD will continue to boast how fast their next processor will blast mutant space monsters, Jerry will tell you that profits are just around the corner and Intel will keep making $Billions.
