I don't see this being anything but positive news. The fact that they issued a press release is a good sign. This is not just cash to keep them going as the other private placements were, none of which were announced in a press release. I have a feeling something is up.

They have raised capital for something and they want everyone to know. Someone big must have signed a letter of intent to purchase a lot of product or something, possibly a buyout is in the wings. I'm purely speculating here but in that vain I believe the writing is now on the wall and we will have a brief amount of time to buy cheap before the other shoe drops.

It seems like FB has a good reputation but they've also been highly bullish on CREAF, which is my other nightmare investment. What a heartbreak they are. Sure hope they do more for FIBR than they've done for CREAF.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Long and depressed.

<< I worked with First Boston for many years as a client. They are one of the most thorough due diligence companies on the street >>

Hmmm...thorough due dilly, eh? Wasn't it a CS First Boston analyst who on Tuesday upgraded HWP to a buy and placed them on the "focus list"? Yikes, they warned the very next day and were down 12 points.

One of these days you guys will figure out that money talks and a "well-respected" firm like CS First Boston can be bought just like any other firm. All they are doing is participating in a convertible preferred offering, what's the big deal. They didn't stick their neck out. They will get their money at the expense of you shareholders.

Enjoy...
