They haven't been any kind of competition since HP took over and changed the name from Exemplar to V2200 Class or whatever they're calling it this week. An 8 CPU Origin2000 deskside blows it away on price AND performance, is about 1/10th as complex, 1/4th the size and 1/1000th as HOT!! Ahem, it's Hewlett Packard Co. now anyway. They've ordered the removal of all references to Convex as of Jan 1, 1998 I think. Hippster
