To all Adaptec thread heads, I'm new to this board but not new to ADPT. To all of you who question the death of scuzzi, I say NOT!

I just took my initial position @ $18. I'm a sucker for a great panic! I love to confront MBAs and CFAs in their darkest hour and buy their shares as they worry about their next meal. Then only several quarters later as they smell their once sought after meal on my barbacue to return their shares at much higher prices.

Valuation follows: application of a median P/E to fiscal year 2000 earnings of $1.75 in March 2000 yields a price target of $32.55 for appreciation potential of 86% above prevailing levels. Math = 18.6 P/E X $1.75 = $32.55 target price. Current P/E for fiscal 99 =
$17.5/$.97 or 18X.

Hope this helps, good luck to all ADPT bulls,

Jay
