I thought Intel was Dells major provider of motherboards.

Re: Strike four: Please read the evaluations done by PC related Magazines. CPQ's computers are always less powerful and more expensive than DELL's.

Ball 1,
A CPQ or IBM AMD K6-266 is faster than a DELL optiplex P-233 MMX.
I believe that if you look, you will find that >$1,000 box cost less than the DELL Box, and is substantially faster.

RE: Strike five: Most of, or I should say "all of", DELL's motherboards and their boxes are provided by Taiwanese manufacturers
Ball 2,
NSM is a motherboard supplier. I did not say to DELL. Granted I did this on purpose, But the fact remains that DELL is a customer of NSM for one part or another.

Ball 3,
>>"All of" dell's boxes are provided by Taiwanese manufacturers<<
Boxes??? When I use the term Boxes, I am referring to the finished PC in a BOX. I am going to assume that you are referring to either the Cardboard, which I would bet does not come from Taiwan, Or, the Plastic case, which I would also bet can be had cheaper in the US or Mexico for the Texas based facilities.

Just think one more, and I can take my base.
