Jim, Your Analysis Makes Sense--Question on Malaysian Fab....

Sorry, havn't followed the situation as I should have, but is the fab mentioned going to be owned by VLSI? I assume this will be located in Malaysia ( real dumb question). If so, any idea how much of their future production will come from this fab. Just trying to get idea of risk, Malaysia is stable now, but mighty close to Indonesia. Thanks much.

Edward and Jim, thanks for your analysis. The action of NSM today shows how deep we could fall if the assumption of a pickup in the second half is defeated by reality. I originally bought VLSI because of this assumption, which was claimed by the CEO many times. I must admit that I got more nervous in the last days, primary because of the AMAT report and the NSM shortfall. But your report and the price action today was very encouraging. Comparing to the sector VLSI showed a strong closing. Hopefully it will hold.
