I don't think news is going to be the primary mover, in the immediate future. The site itself will be the key. I expected a big upward move today -- people wanting to get in on the ground floor, and all that. But, as I think about it, I can also see why today's downturn occurred. Those of us who are in right now are going to be called on our bet: the site goes live tonight, and then it'll be there for all to see. I'm betting that it'll be impressive as hell, do what it's meant to do, and bring customers flocking in. If I'm wrong, I'll lose some of the paper money I've gained over the past few weeks. The pump-and-dump crowd has been here twice, and both times they got out before the bet was called. They won a few bucks and went their separate way, all on hype about a site that no one would even see before they bailed out. They were playing on the psychology of the Internet (hype), not on the product and the company, and they were doing it with relatively little risk because they knew they could escape before the product and the company had to prove themselves. (I'm talking about the experienced pump-and-dumpers, not the sheep who buy in late and get caught holding the bag.) We are the ones assuming the risk, because we're here on the day where ProNetLink is going to prove itself. I'm not too terribly surprised that others are unwilling to take the risk. When they see the site, do their DD, and ask us on the SI board what life is like as a PNLK shareholder, I'll be ready to welcome them. Maybe they'll tell their kids some day that they got into PNLK when it was only $10/share! <VBG> I like what I see so far from PNLK, its partners, and the beta version of the site. I just feel in my bones that the site is going to be a winner. And that's what will make the difference. The upcoming PR, etc., etc., will just be icing on the cake. Think long, unless the site and the company prove us wrong.
