mg--

What oil stocks do you like? A friend of mine told me this morning she heard oil was going to be a hot sector.

Mike,

It all sounds fine, EXCEPT, there's an oversupply of oil (and it's getting cheaper because there's still to much of it....) and many more countries that want to pump more. Haven't you heard about all the so-called voluntarily-imposed producer quota limitations?

If Indonesia slows or stops their production, there is someone else willing to step theirs up. Venezuela comes to mind. So do half a dozen other countries, including Saudi Arabia.

I don't like the problems you raise with the general violence level, and ARCO and ELF are/could be directly affected, but generally if Indonesia stops producing oil, it's not going to be a big deal and the SUV's won't run dry...

Not only that, but we always have our high-priced oil reserves, because we bought and filled that when oil was very high priced....

Regards,
